Faith Unity Evangelism Leadership: Beginnings
F.U.E.L. was conceived in 2008. It began with approximately fifteen men Brian Lightle invited to study Pat Morley’s book “The Man in the Mirror”. After a several years, a group of the faithful men decided to redirect the focus of the weekly meetings.
The men group started a grassroots study of the Bible at a local restaurant. It had, and has, no denominational barriers; simply a commitment to teach God’s Word on a weekly basis. The goal was to be part of the secular community, while providing men an opportunity to experience the life changing power of God’s Word.
Jeff Robinson created the F.U.E.L. acronym for the ministry. It declares:
Faith in Christ is the basis for the group
Unity among men is vital to their growth and strength
Evangelism is sharing the incredible truth of God’s grace with all
Leadership, especially by men, changes the world, influences generations, and guides our families.
F.U.E.L. is ever changing. Its size waxes and wanes, facilitators rotate, and meeting places move. However, our belief in Jesus Christ and the principles declared by the name F.U.E.L. never waiver.
A wide variety of Pastors and men of God faithfully bring God’s Word to the group each week. Their messages guide the Men of FUEL on issues we experience as husbands, fathers, managers, employees, and leaders in community and church life.
F.U.E.L. is thankful for our generous hosts, and the wonderful Christian Men who attend, and the speakers who edify us by teaching the Word of God.

F.U.E.L. is committed to serving men at any point in their journey with God. We do not judge.
The ultimate way to have a personal relationship with God is to understand His Word. Understanding, and a changed heart, are the result of Bible study and hearing Truth taught on a consistent basis. It is our vision to help men with both.
